May was a quiet month for me inspiration wise, hence why there was no May update and a slow trickle of new additions. [I know, but these things do happen from time to time...]

June, on the otherhand, is a completely different story as I have been very busy creating lots of new items, most of which have been added to the Perlina Handmade Jewellery site.

As you can see, inspiration seems to be coming from all corners of the rainbow now and it looks like I’m finally moving away from my phase of everything being just a different shade of blue! More pieces to come…

Recently, I have been a little behind in trying to keep up with blogging about all the new additions to the Perlina Handmade Jewellery web site because the blog came after the main site. I can only get down on my hands and knees and beg for forgiveness for this, he he!

There has been quite a mixture of different styles behind the recent pieces I have been making. These earrings have a lovely oriental look about them as they are made from blue and white, hand-painted porcelain beads. And the black glass beads with encased pink and green flowers reminds me of a lovely pattern found on Japanese kimono’s.

This pearl bracelet and earrings set have more of an elegant 1940’s look about them and come in a really pretty shade of blue and white.
